ONLEAD, founded in 1996, specializes in the R&D and manufacturing of smart office, intelligent medical care, teaching and scientific research, as well as hotel and apartment furniture. We also provide comprehensive solutions of commercial spaces for customers. With a focus on the high-end market, the Group has garnered universal recognition and praise for our cutting-edge design, superior quality, and impeccable service.
The Group is the deputy director of the China National Furniture Association, the president unit of the Nanjing Furniture Industry Association, and has been named as the top 1 in the "Top 10 of Office Furniture Industry of China Light Industry" by the China National Light Industry Council, as well as "Top 200 Enterprises in China's Light Industry" and "China's Top 100 Light Industry Technology Enterprises". We have also been recognized as the "Leading Enterprise in Furniture Industry of China" and "Demonstration Brand Enterprise of Office Furniture in China" by the China National Furniture Association. For consecutive years, we have been awarded the title of "Top 10 Leading Brands of Office Furniture in China". Additionally, we have won numerous awards such as "Leader in Green Productivity along the Belt and Road", "Green Pioneer Enterprise", "Top 50 Brands Most Favored by Consumers in China Quality Journey", "Top 100 Enterprises with Brand Competition in Jiangsu Province", "Nanjing Outstanding Private Enterprise", and "Gaochun District Mayor Quality Award". The headquarters of the Group is located in Gaochun District, Nanjing, with the zone designed by the internationally renowned firm Hassell. The Group adheres to the innovation-driven development strategy, and has formed significant technological advantages in the industry through continuous independent development and transformation of technological achievements. The Group owns the laboratory certificated by China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS), has been rated as a national industrial design center, Jiangsu Provincial Enterprise Technology Center, Jiangsu Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center, and has been recognized as a Specialized, Sophisticated, Distinctive and New Little Giant Enterprise in Jiangsu, a key enterprise in the field of smart home in Jiangsu. As of Dec. 2023, the Group has a total of more than 950 patents with independent intellectual property rights. The products won the "China Excellent Industrial Design", "Good Technology of China", "Kapok Design Awards China", "Jiangsu Provincial Industrial Design Product Excellence Award", "Guangdong Governor Cup Design Competition Excellence Award", "Nanjing Excellent Patent Awards", "Bronze Award of Industrial Design of Zijin Award" and other awards. Among them, the "Warri" multifunctional elderly-friendly sofa has been included in the "2023 Catalog of Elderly Care Products for Promotion" by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The "Bridge" series office desk was selected into the list of upgraded consumer goods of "Guide for Upgrading and Innovating Consumer Goods (Ninth Batch of Light Industry)" issued by the China National Light Industry Council in 2022; "York" sofa was selected into the list of upgraded consumer goods of "Guide for Upgrading and Innovating Consumer Goods (Tenth Batch of Light Industry)" in 2023; "Island" won the second prize and craftsmanship design award at the 2nd National Light Industry Competition for Elderly-friendly Innovative Products and Smart Health Solutions. The lift table won the "Jiangsu Quality Goods" certification; "Mountain" series office desk was selected into the annual excellent product catalog of China National Furniture Association. The collaborative scientific and technological project won the second prize of the 11th Liang Xi Forestry Science and Technology Progress Award. The Group has been recognized by the China National Light Industry Council as the "China's Advanced Collective of Scientific and Technological Innovation of Light Industry during the 13th Five-Year Plan Period" and the "Exemplary Organization for Digital Transformation of China's Light Industry in 2022". Adhering to the concept of sustainable development, the Group actively builds a green manufacturing system and establishes two major manufacturing bases in Eastern China and Central China. It has introduced advanced intelligent manufacturing equipment from both home and abroad to strengthen the application of new technologies such as informatization, big data, the Internet of Things, and artificial intelligence in production and manufacturing. The Group possesses the first fully automatic flexible production line with intelligent integrated control by robots in the domestic office furniture industry, leading production lines for a full range of furniture categories including panel, solid wood, soft furniture, metal, and plastic, as well as advanced production lines for office partitions and finished partitions. Embodying the quality philosophy of "Craftsmanship and Excellence" and the environmental concept of "Green, Low-Carbon, and Innovative Development", the Group selects high-quality materials globally, uses timber that Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified, and are a pioneer in introducing ENF-level aldehyde-free plates. By adopting environment-friendly waterborne paint, utilizing green manufacturing technologies, and implementing strict quality control throughout the entire process, the Group creates quality office furniture that is green, low-carbon, intelligent, technological, healthy, and comfortable. In 2024, the Group obtained the carbon neutral management system certification and product carbon footprint certificate.

The Group is one of the earliest manufacturers in China specializing in the R&D and manufacturing of medical furniture. Keeping pace with the times and closely following the development of modern hospital construction, the Group responds to the trend of diversified design by providing one-stop medical furniture solutions for various medical institutions. Adhering to the principle of "patient-doctor-oriented", the Group introduces the 3H (Hospital, Home, Hotel) concept, which perfectly integrates "hospital care, homely warmth, and hotel comfort". Based on the existing comprehensive range of medical furniture products, it continues to innovate and introduce new ideas, bringing a new experience to medical spaces and making the healing environment full of quality and warmth. The Group has established the "ONLEAD Smart Healthcare and Wellness Home Furnishing Research Institute" jointly with Nanjing Forestry University, developing a series of smart medical care furniture products to create a safe, comfortable, and warm diagnostic and medical treatment environment for healthcare providers and patients. Furthermore, the Group also focuses on the field of educational furniture, embodying the philosophy of "educating through a nurturing environment". It provides eco-friendly, healthy, safe, intelligent, technological, and highly interactive educational furniture to create a smart education environment that is conducive to inspiring teaching and learning enthusiasm among teachers and students, enhancing teacher-student interaction, improving students' thinking and creativity, and cultivating students' character and sentiment. The educational institutions that the Group serves include Tsinghua University, Peking University, Fudan University, Sun Yat-sen University, South China University of Technology, Tongji University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, China Academy of Art, BFSU Foreign Languages School, and XDF.CN, among others. Since its inception, the Group has deepened the integration of industry and education, as well as cooperation between enterprises and universities. It has established a collaborative research and development mechanism with universities such as Nanjing Forestry University, South China Agricultural University, Central South University of Forestry & Technology, and Nanjing University of the Arts. Consequently, various projects including teacher enterprise practice stations and internship and employment bases have been implemented successively.
